Item 7 of Jiangsu Contract, Signal to Noise

Detect all defects dynamically in 50, 100, and 150 mm standard bar > than 10 db S/N for the UT and > 3:1 S/N for the eddy current rotobar tester. Speed will be the maximum that is safe to run at the MA Nordic plant (not to exceed 60m/min).

Note: No quantitative data was obtained for stability testing at MA
Nordic due to time constraints. However qualitative observations and the excellent stability exhibited during testing in Mt. Vernon, NY, we fill that this will not be an issue during the final acceptance.

 

Item 20 of Jiangsu Contract, Circumferential Sensitivity Difference

  Difference of circumferential sensitivity ≤ 2dB under condition of sample testing. Difference of circumferential sensitivity is subject to detection of D artificial flaw and near surface flaw. (UT Only)
